The Brazilian star Issues Sincere Sorry to Real Madrid Supporters
Vinicius Jr has netted five goals in 10 La Liga appearances this season.
The Madrid giants attacker Vinicius Jr has apologised to the fanbase for his conduct when replaced in the recent heated Clasico clash triumph.
Vinicius was replaced in the 72nd min and expressed his annoyance by heading directly off the pitch.
He eventually reappeared to the sidelines and, after his side's 2-1 win, tried to confront the opposition's Lamine Yamal during contentious final whistle scenes.
"Today I want to apologise to all the Madridistas for my reaction when I was replaced in the big match," he posted on his account.
"Similarly to I have previously expressed during today's training, I would like to apologise again to my teammates, the club, and the leadership.
"At times emotion takes over me because I always want to succeed and help my side. My determined nature stems from the love I hold for this institution and each thing it stands for."
Vinicius joined Real from Flamengo in the year 2018 for £38.7m and has accumulated 111 goals in numerous matches.
But his career in the Spanish capital is far from certain with speculation in recent months indicating that Los Blancos would consider permitting the young star depart if they were to receive a suitable offer.
When Vinicius was taken off on Sunday, TV coverage from coverage provider Dazn captured him remarking: "Always me! I'm exiting the club! It's wiser if I go, I'm moving on."
In his latest message on social media, Vinicius commented: "I promise to keep fighting every second for the welfare of Los Blancos, as I have performed since the first day."
